Our Role
Quod provided strategic development economics and socio-economic advice to support the delivery of The Round at 18 Blackfriars, working closely with Hines, Lipton Rogers and the wider consultant team. Quod led negotiations on the affordable housing and affordable workspace offer, securing 40.5% affordable housing alongside a high-quality, community-focused affordable workspace strategy. The team also helped shape the wider public access and community vision for the development, responding to changing expectations of post-Covid urban workplaces. Centred around a vibrant public plaza, cultural facilities and green social spaces, the project reimagines how office-led developments can foster connection, accessibility and long-term community value.
