Quod advised Argent on affordable housing strategy, viability, S106 negotiations, grant funding, and innovative tenure products across the scheme. The development delivered homes, offices, retail, public spaces, education, and cultural uses, including 43% affordable housing supported by £42 million HCA grant funding.

King’s Cross is one of London’s largest and most successful regeneration projects, transforming a former industrial site into a vibrant mixed-use neighbourhood over the past 20 years. Quod advised Argent on all affordable housing matters, including policy strategy, viability, Section 106 negotiations, RSL procurement, contractual arrangements, and a successful £42 million HCA grant application. The Development Economics team also prepared a local lettings plan and developed bespoke intermediate tenure products tested successfully at Inquiry. The wider scheme delivered homes, offices, retail, public spaces, educational facilities, and cultural uses, including 43% affordable housing overall.
